Arqua Station - Innovative drinking fountain design

Go Tap partner Street Furniture Australia, inspired by the bottled water campaign, has designed the Arqua Station, a new generation drinking fountain. The Arqua Station consists of a sculpture-like drinking fountain and a refill post, allowing for easy replenishment of water bottles.

The drinking fountain will tackles problems associated with older-style bubblers such as litter, grime, vandalism and drain blockage. In addition, it’s accessible to children and wheelchair users.

Arqua Stations were installed in Bundanoon as a part of the town’s bottled water ban. Suitable for all communities, corporations or educational institutions, the Aqua Station will help reduce our reliance on commercial bottled water, which in turn will lessen the environmental and financial impact.
